Our Story

Nainawa Welfare Trust was established with a mission rooted in faith in Allah Almighty ﷻ and inspired by the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, who taught compassion, mercy, patience, and service to humanity without discrimination. Guided by the Qur’an and the Sunnah, and following the noble example of Ahl-ul-Bait (A.S.), our journey is dedicated to serving those tested by illness, poverty, and hardship.

This mission took its first physical form on 12 August 2016, when the foundation stone of SYEDA FATIMA TU ZAHRA (S.A.) TRUST HOSPITAL was laid by Mr. Rana Tanveer Hussain, Federal Minister, marking the beginning of a vision to serve humanity in the spirit of faith and compassion. In September 2018, construction of the hospital began, turning intention into action. To strengthen and sustain this noble cause, Nainawa Welfare Trust formally came into existence on 16 November 2019. The hospital was later inaugurated on 17 August 2020 by Mr. Nadeem Afzal Chan, Federal Special Assistant (Moāvin-e-Khasoosi), opening its doors to those in need.

Today, SYEDA FATIMA TU ZAHRA (S.A.) TRUST HOSPITAL stands as a place of hope, healing, and mercy, with a capacity of over 100 beds, providing medical and surgical care supported by modern facilities including a laboratory, X-ray, and ultrasound. Every patient is treated with dignity and respect, regardless of financial condition, faith, race, belief, or religion, in accordance with the Islamic principle that serving humanity is among the highest forms of worship.

In times of crisis, the Trust has stood alongside the people. We extended relief and assistance to flood-affected families, sharing their pain and easing their suffering. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we worked closely with the government, supporting vaccination efforts and offering our hospital as a vaccination center to protect the community during a time of fear and uncertainty.

This institution exists not merely as a hospital, but as an act of obedience and devotion to Allah ﷻ, following the path shown by the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and reflected in the lives of Ahl-ul-Bait (A.S.), where caring for the sick and helping the oppressed is an act of faith. With the prayers and support of our donors and well-wishers, we remain committed to touching lives, healing hearts, and serving humanity — one life at a time, for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ.

Message from Our Chairman

It is an honor for me to lead SYEDA FATIMA TU ZAHRA (S.A) TRUST HOSPITAL, an institution built on compassion, service, and dedication to the people of Bhakkar. Our hospital continues to provide high-quality medical and surgical care, using modern equipment and the expertise of our committed staff to serve those who cannot afford these facilities elsewhere.

We are deeply grateful for the generous support of our donors, whose trust reflects the strength and credibility of our services. As we move forward, I aim to build on this foundation and further enhance our ability to care for the poor and underserved. Together, we will continue to bring hope and healing to our community.

-Sageer Hussain Fatimi

Our VISION

Our vision is to build empowered, healthy, and prosperous communities across Pakistan, where women, girls, and marginalized groups can live with dignity and equal opportunities. Through the provision of healthcare, education, skills development, and humanitarian relief, we aspire to eliminate poverty, reduce inequality, and create a just society. We strive to ensure that even the most vulnerable — including the poor, laborers, widows, orphans, and persons with disabilities — have access to essential services, protection of their rights, and opportunities to improve their lives for a better future.

Our Values

NAINWA WELFARE TRUST (Syeda Fatima-tuz-Zahra Salaam-ullah-e-Aleeiha Hospital) is a non-profit organization dedicated to building healthy, empowered, and inclusive communities. Guided by the values of equity, humanity, transparency, and accountability, we work for the poorest and most marginalized groups, especially women and children. Our programs focus on healthcare, education, vocational training, disaster relief, sustainable livelihoods, and climate resilience. With a commitment to compassion and fairness, we continue to serve vulnerable communities across Pakistan with dignity and hope.
